Nopigia is a small seaside village located 6km east of Kissamos and 30km west of Chania. The village lies in front of a sandy beach with clear and shallow waters. On the east side of the village, the beach becomes rockier and more secluded. There are also several pebbly and rocky coves of unique beauty in the area.

Kissamos offers all the comforts and the facilities that a town can offer. There is a regular public bus service to Chania. The airport of Chania is 56 kms away and the port of Souda 43 kms.
